The Story

After finding herself completely depleted, exhausted, frustrated and physically and mentally falling apart, J. Javelle sought out help from an SMT (Stress Manager Therapist), on how to manage her stress. The SMT suggested a lot of different tools, but the most important thing was Self-Care needed to be a priority in her life.

Self-care (a term that became popular in 2016), was not as easy as it indicates that it should be: taking care of yourself. It should be the easiest thing in the world to do especially for a person who takes care of so many things, situations, circumstances, and other people. However, J. Javelle found that self-care was far from easy, in fact, it was the most difficult task for her to do and use to manage her stress.

She was unaware of where to start or how to start a journey of self-care. So out of pure frustration of trying to take care of herself the way she took care of others, through lots of research, trial & error, it allowed for the birth of Grace P.O.U.R.
