Grace P.O.U.R. was born after much of the founder’s need to seek help to find ways to manage her stress, and being advised self-care needed to be a priority. Unaware of how or what was needed to start a self-care journey, Javelle felt frustrated, more stressed out and a little hopeless, so she began to do lots of research, trial & error with creating her own self-care routine, filling her cup and learning to serve from her saucer. Javelle wanted other caregivers, working career people who have to balance their home life and careers or individuals like her that are the go-to of their families or have all of the above on their plates to have to a place of refuge and support. A place that assists them to put the pieces together and help figure things out after that hour therapy session or that Sunday sermon has ended.
Javelle is a certified facilitator, life coach, accountability partner and strategic planner whose passion is to help others be able to gain the balance and the knowledge of serving from their saucers, the education on knowing exactly how their cups should be filled and have a balanced life. Her passion for SELF-CARE comes from her knowledge and understanding of the famous cliché that: “You can’t Pour from an Empty Cup!” We hear that all the time but most times if you are a person who has to manage stress you don’t even realize your cup is empty.
